What are the characteristic features of the spoken variety of language? Does the relationship between spoken and written registers change over time? How can this process affect the future development of Persian language? The present research reveals the frequency and methods of applying the contemporary spoken Persian in the works of a few contemporary writers through quantitative and qualitative analyses. In applying qualitative analysis, the researcher has used criteria like phonetics, construction of words, syntactic, and vocabulary, whereas in applying the quantitative method she has surveyed statistical and frequency factors.
