This Dictionary is a product of research co-operation Tehran University and the University of Peking which took six years, from 1988 to 1993 and published in 1997. The Chinese – Persian dictionary covers about 70,000 entries which amounts to 3.5 million words in a single volume in 1472 pages. Taking into consideration the totally different structure of the two languages, one can better evaluate the great efforts made by the authors of the Chinese-Persian dictionary.
