He is graduated in archeology from the University of Tehran and the University of Berlin, member of the scientific board of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and, the director general of the National Museum of Iran. Management of the Great Gorgan Wall Cultural Heritage Base as well as of the Gonbad-e Qabus World Heritage Base, prominent manager and top researcher of cultural heritage, supervision and guidance of numerous archaeological researches in many cities of Iran, reopening of the Museum of Archeology and Islamic Art of Iran, holding new prehistoric galleries in the Museum of Ancient Iran, improving and organizing the National Museum of Iran, holding various exhibitions of the works of other museums of the world in the National Museum of Iran and exhibitions of works of the National Museum of Iran in some museums of the world are among his honors. He has dozens of books, articles and catalogs in different languages, and his guidebook of Iran National Museum has been translated into 5 languages.
