Liu Yingjun is professor of Persian language and literature, researcher at the Oriental Literature Research Center of Peking University, and epic scholar residing in China in the field of Iranian studies and he has been engaged in research on the Iranian epic Kush Nameh for many years. He was born in 1977. In 1996, he studied at the undergraduate level at Peking University. In 2013, he was sent to Germany and Iran for a study opportunity. In 2015, he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Peking University, and his thesis on "Kush Nameh" earned the best grade. The main focus of his research is Persian literature, Iranian epics, history of cultural relations between Iran and China. He has published dozens of research articles in reputable scientific journals in China and abroad.
