Dr. John L. Esposito is the founder and president of the Center for Understanding Between Islam and Christianity History and international Affairs, at Georgetown University in Washingtin, D. C. in addition to this post, he teaches "Reliogion and international Affairs "and Islamic Studies". Dr. Esposito is also the head of the American Association of middle Eastern studies and the American council on Islamic Societies.
