Susan Mokhberi is an Associate Professor of History at Rutgers University at Camden. Her research covers early modern French contacts with the world and she is the author of several articles on France and Persia. Her book The Persian Mirror: Reflections of the Safavid Empire in Early Modern France examines the unique relationship between France and Persia. Mokhberi has been the recipient of several generous grants including a Fulbright scholarship and a Rutgers Global Research Grant. She is currently working on the impact of Safavid ideas of diversity on France.
