Ahmed Oulddali is an Assistant professor of Islamic Studies at Aix-Marseille University in France and an associate researcher at IREMAM (Institute of Research and Studies on the Arab and Muslim Worlds). His primary research focuses on Muslim theology, Qur’anic exegesis and Islamic law. He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Aix-Marseille University and is the author of several works on Qur’anic Hermeneutics, legal theory and religious minorities in the medieval Muslim world. His most recent publication is a monograph entitled Reason and Revelation in Islam (Brill, 2019). He is currently working on the reception and circulation of the rational exegesis of Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī.
