Russia will host the ceremony of the 1st Triennial Regional Book Awards

The 1st Triennial Regional Book Awards will be held in Moscow, Fall 2016.

In collaboration with the Islamic Republic of Iran Cultural Centre (Moscow) and several Russian academic centres, the Secreteriat of the World Award for Book of the Year will hold the 1st Triennial Regional Book Awards in Moscow, Fall 2016. The secretariat, Iranian Cultural Centre in the Russian Federation, Moscow International Foundation for Iranian Studies, Moscow Islamic Culture Research Foundation, the Russian Academy of Sciences (Institutes of Scientific-Cultural Information and Oriental Studies) will proceed with the evaluation of entries, and will collaboratively cooperate in holding the ceremony. The subject area of the award lies entirely in Russian-written books on Islam and Iran during 2014-2015.
