Award presentation ceremony of the 1st Regional Book Award held in Moscow
The 1st Regional Book Award ceremony was held in Moscow in the presence of Russian scientific figures on Islamic and Iranian studies, Iranian scholars, and cultural officials of Iran. Award presentation and honoring ceremony for the winners of the 1st contest for “Islamic-Iranian Book of the Year” in Russian speaking countries was held in the amphitheater hall of Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature (No. 1, Nikoloyamskaya St., Moscow) on December 1st, 2016.
Also present at this splendid ceremony were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation Mehdi Sanaei, Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ali Akbarov, Islamic Republic of Iran&rsquos Cultural Attaché in Moscow Reza Maleki, Secretariat of World Award for Book of the Year of the I.R.I Mohsen Javadi, Head of Moscow Linguistics University Igor Manokhin, Chief Executive Officer of Iran&rsquos Book House Institute Majid Gholami Jaliseh, Head of the Institute of Social sciences in Russian Academy of Sciences Ilya Zaytsev, and Distinguished figure in 1382 SH, Permanent Member of Academy of Science, Head of Iran&rsquos Wisdom and Philosophy Institute, Representative of Publication Federal Agency in Russian Federation (Official Administrator of Publication in Russia) Gholamreza A&rsquovani, along with other scientific and cultural figures from both Iran and Russia.
Certificate of appreciation was presented to 15 selected entries on Iranian and Islamic studies and first to third winners received cash prizes in addition to appreciation certificate and contest statute. Moreover, Certificate of appreciation was issued for all the participants in the contest. The 1st Regional Book Award in Russian speaking countries was organized by Islamic Republic of Iran&rsquos Cultural Attaché in Moscow and with the support of Secretariat of World Award for Book of the Year of the I.R.I, Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow International Iranology Foundation, Moscow Islamic studies Foundation, Publication Federal Agency in Russian Federation (Official Administrator of Publication in Russia), Russian Library for Foreign Literature, Institute of Iranian and Russian Literature, and Iran&rsquos Book House Institute.
